Part A - LoopKey Privacy Policy

1. This policy applies to the LoopKey app by LoopDesignLab PTE. LTD. (reg. 202334183H), 83B Tanjong Pagar Rd, Singapore 088504. Contact: legal@loopdl.com. It is governed by POPIA; regulator: the Information Regulator (South Africa).

2. What LoopKey is

   LoopKey carries out device locking and management on your network provider's instruction. Your network provider decides whether to lock or unlock the device; LoopDesignLab only carries out that instruction.

3. What it collects and uses

   3.1. The device lock status, and the limited device identifiers (such as the device serial and IMEI) needed to apply, check and remove a lock;

   3.2. App crash and diagnostics data via Google Firebase, to keep the app stable.

4. LoopKey does not access your personal content (messages, photos, files) and does not use your location. It contains no advertising and no usage analytics.

5. Roles and sharing

   The locking is operated on your network provider's instruction; the provider decides lock/unlock, and LoopDesignLab processes the lock data on the provider's behalf (as its operator). We share lock data with your network provider to operate the lock, and with Google (Firebase) for crash data where applicable. We do not sell your data.

6. Storage, transfers and retention

   Lock data is processed on our and the provider's systems, which may be outside South Africa under appropriate safeguards; crash data is processed by Google. We keep lock data only as long as needed to operate the lock, and thereafter only as required by law or to resolve disputes.

7. Your rights

   Under POPIA you may access, correct or delete your personal information. LoopKey has no account of its own; for lock matters and account data, contact your network provider, or delete your LoopPhone account (in the LoopPhone app). You may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa).

8. Children

   The app is not intended for children below the age at which valid consent can be given.
